About this Project

As shown in the video below, the seams under the eaves of this roof were gradually opening up where screws had popped out and where they had been placed too far apart.

We had to first fix these problem areas, repinning and screwing down the seams, filling the larger gaps with landscape foam, and then caulking and sealing all the joins.

Once this was complete, we caulked and sealed any other problem spots in the pitched permaclad sheeting, and then covered the entire roof in a monolithic seamless membrane. 1 coat of grey primer applied with a spray gun, followed by 2 coats of elastomeric Uniflex Acrylic 41-320. The first of the top coats was applied using a roller brush specially designed for use on the ridged permaclad sheeting, and the second using the Greco spray gun for even and continuous coverage over the entire area.
